LASER HAIR REMOVAL
​HOW DOES IT WORK?
Laser hair removal is a procedure that beams highly concentrated light into the hair follicles. Pigment in the follicles absorbs the light that destroys the hair. Laser treatments average from around 6-12 treatments. Each treatment you will see a result. Some patients see results as soon as a few days after treatment, but most see results 2-3 weeks after laser treatment.
THE EQUIPMENT WE USE
Our laser machine is the Cynosure Apogee Elite. It does Yag and Alex, (Dark & Light skin). We also have a Cryo Zimmer Cooler.

The Cynosure Apogee Elite laser system is especially effective for laser hair removal on all skin types, as well as spider vein treatments and other lesions, birthmarks, age spots and sun spots. Studies have shown that the Apogee system can achieve up a 75% or more reduction in hair as in little as just three treatments, whereas other systems sometimes require double the number of treatments to get to that level.

The Apogee elite works on collagen stimulation including skin rejvenation, wrinkle reduction, skin tightening, laser facials, leg veins, acne , facial veins, and lesions. This customizable laser system can remove hair on all skin types and offers dual wavelength. (755 & 1064)

The great aspect of the Cynosure is that it is much less painful for you and treatment is quite fast. There is a separate chiller that attaches to the hand piece and blows cool air before and after the hair is removed. The Apogee Elite includes SmartCool technology; this flow of chilled air maximizes your comfort during and after the treatment. SmartCool also is protective against potential thermal damage to skin.
Because lasers reach your hair follicles at the lowest point, it provides a permanent result to hair removal--unlike the temporary solutions that shaving, waxing, and epilating provide.
